  • Wash hands and remove swab from packaging, be very careful to not let anything touch the tip of the swab.
  • Gently swab the inside of your pet's cheek for 30 seconds to collect saliva.
  • Snap the excess stick off the swab, unscrew the lid to the tube (contains stabilizing liquid — do NOT spill), and place the swab into the tube.
  • Repeat with the second swab, both swabs will be stored in the one tube with liquid.
  • Screw tube cap tightly, and shake gently to ensure the two swabs are covered in the liquid.
  • Label the tube with your pet's name using a pen and place into provided bag.
  • Fill out sample information form included in box.
  • Visit epipaws.com/register to register your pet and test online.
  • Reuse the box the kit came in to mail your kit back, place the included return label OVER the original label.
  • Drop off at any USPS drop-off location within 14 days of collection.
  • Results are delivered within 4 to 6 weeks.
